The Public Interest Law Centre operates under the umbrella of  Camden Community Law Centre. We are a not-for-profit legal aid firm. As a matter of principle we do not conduct private fee-paying legal casework.

Nearly all of our casework is conducted under a public law legal aid contract administered through the Legal Aid Agency. Details about the legal aid scheme can be found here.

It is sometimes possible for PILC to work pro bono. We have in the past secured costs capping orders on certain cases and we have been able to raise some funds towards legal costs/fees via crowd funding.
