Alicea is a volunteer at the Public Interest Law Centre

Alicea assists the lawyers in various aspects of public law. This may be researching specific points of law or working on Judicial Review cases.

As a former languages student who has had the opportunity to experience different cultures and varied social conduct, Alicea is interested in the development of law, which will accommodate positive change within society.

During her time at PILC Alicea worked on cases involving issues of immigration, housing, benefits and domestic violence. Her involvement in these cases ranged from research, FOI requests, drafting appeals and client contact. Alicea has now secured employment with Hogan Lovells – everyone at the Public Interest law Centre wishes her all th best in the next stage of her career.
